TELEVISION

German National TV (ZDF) production “Polynesien Nomaden der Sudsee” for German television 2003  (N.B.: They made up their own silly story even though a real story had been agreed on. They never gave us the footage they promised.  But in the film there is some lovely footage of Taumako vessels and community members.)

Voyagers. Castaways.  BBC 2009. *N.B.: This film is mainly about animals and plants that moved across the ocean to islands. The title "Castaways" is not appropriate as description of the worldÊ»s most successful voyagers, whose heirs (practitioners of ancient navigational knowledge) have shown again and again how intentional and effective their methods are.
